USING ESSENTIAL OILS:

Essential oils as Foods

Essential oils can be used in cooking as a flavouring for yoghurt, desserts, sauces, balsamic vinegar, oils for dressings, drinks and liqueurs. A single drop is enough to flavour 100 g/100 mL of food or drink. To flavour plant oil to use as a dressing, you can add 100% pure essential oils of: basil, coriander, fennel, ginger, green pepper, lemon, marjoram, orange, oregano, rosemary, sage and thyme.

Essential oils as Air and Room Scents – diffusers, fountains, humidifiers and perfumers

Essential oils can be used to purify the air by removing smoke and unpleasant odours at home, in the office and in the car. Add 6 to 15 drops of essential oil to your diffuser or to your oil heater with added water. The 100% pure essential oils that can be used as room scents include: bay, bergamot, cajeput, cedar, cinnamon, clove, eucalyptus, geranium, grapefruit, juniper, lemon, lemongrass, mandarin, mint, mountain pine, myrtle, orange, rosemary, sage, sandalwood, stone pine and tea tree.

Essential oils as Cosmetics – massage

Essential oils can be used in massage, where their refreshing, stimulating, rejuvenating, relaxing, restorative, calming, sensual and detoxifying properties come to the fore. Massage oils are created by blending a plant oil, such as almond, avocado, hazelnut, hemp, jojoba, rosehip or wheatgerm, with 2–4% of individual or blended essential oils. For a rejuvenating massage, the following essential oils are best: bay laurel, bergamot, cedar, grapefruit, lemon, lime, mint, rhododendron and Scots pine.

Essential oils as Cosmetics – bathing

Essential oils can be used in your bath, where their refreshing, stimulating, relaxing, restorative, calming, sensual and detoxifying properties come to the fore. They are also wonderful in saunas and foot baths.
As a base, you can use honey, cream, clay and salt (2–3 spoonfuls), and then add individual or blended essential oils. We recommend the following quantities:

Full bath: 10–20 drops of essential oil

Hip bath: 3–5 drops of essential oil

TIPS FOR BEAUTIFUL, RADIANT SKIN

All 100% pure essential oils are highly concentrated and should not be used on the skin undiluted. They should always be combined with a carrier, such as plant oils, butters, creams and neutral cleansers. Always check the dose printed on the packaging.
